- Purchase exposed leg furniture: Perhaps the most commonly purchased exposed leg furniture is a bed frame. The benefit of these types of furnishings is that they open up storage space underneath. Oftentimes, storage containers or bins are utilized for items that are not utilized every day. These bins can then be stored underneath a bed frame and out of sight. This area can be a great spot for items such as holiday decorations, etc…
