In fact, more Americans opted to relocate to The Sunshine State in 2022 than any other state. Of course, there are many reasons why people decide to pick up and move to another state. Some of the most common reasons include weather, economy, cost of living, crime, employment, or family. Recently, United Van Lines released its most recent survey of movers known as the Annual 2022 United Van Lines National Movers Survey. According to this survey, 17% of movers overall were looking for a lifestyle change in 2022. Below we share the top states that movers chose simply for lifestyle change reasons.

It is important to put this survey into perspective. While The Sunshine State still ranked highly for lifestyle change driven moves, this study only considered lifestyle changes.
